Ash Egan is founder at Archetype and Venture Partner at Accomplice focusing on early stage blockchain and crypto investments. At Accomplice, Ash has led investments in Bison Trails, Coda, Near, amongst other crypto-networks and crypto-enabled companies. Previously, he was a founding Principal on the venture team at ConsenSys, the largestblockchain company in the world, where he led investments in BlockFi, Vault, RocketPool, and Quantstamp. Ash began his career in venture at Converge VC, where he focused primarily on blockchain/crypto and machine learning applications, and led the firm's investments in Chainalysis, Enigma, and Wade & Wendy. Ash received his AB in American Politics from Princeton University where he captained the Men's Varsity Squash team and played on the National Champion Team in 2012. He is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and serves as an advisor at ConsenSys' Tachyon Accelerator, and mentors university students at Harvard Ventures. Ash received Forbes 30 Under 30 for Venture Capital in 2020 and has been published in Techcrunch, Coindesk, VentureBeat, and the Boston Globe.
