Zecrey is a privacy protocol for Layer 2 networks built on ZK-rollups, competing with the top project Aztec. With a single click, users can choose a privacy mode and execute transactions that miners won't see, making them faster and cheaper for users. The project has received 6 millions in funding directly from Binance Labs and an additional 5.5 million in multiple rounds from Spartan, Shima, D1, Fenbushi, and others. The team remains anonymous. Apart from Binance and Spartan, the other funds are relatively weak. Zecrey is interesting because it appears to resemble a project associated with Binance, which raises the possibility of it launching on their launchpad or launchpool. The overall strategy is to test the protocol to increase the chances of a retro airdrop.

The second phase of the testnet ran from March 31 to April 30. Zecrey announced the winners of the second phase, and you can check the wallets in the table. Minting ZecreyLegend will be possible after the mainnet launch, expected around the end of June.
