Today
Anoma is a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchain network that abides by the principles of "intention-oriented" and "privacy-preserving" for decentralized counterparty discovery, problem-solving, and atomic calculations on multichain networks. Anoma offers fractal scaling as a solution to blockchain scalability issues. The concept is that different components of Anoma can be launched in localized environments, both geographic and social, allowing scalability to grow with the number of users and activity. Namada, developed by Heliax, is a first-layer Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchain and will be the first fractal in the Anoma network. Namada's main focus will be on providing confidential asset transfers and testing MASP (Multichain Asset Security Protocol) within the Anoma network. Upon launch, the Namada blockchain will be compatible with Ethereum and other blockchains that support IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication). Anoma has successfully completed two funding rounds in 2021, both led by Polychain Capital and with participation from Coinbase Ventures, P2P Capital, Figment, ZKV, Maven 11, Chorus One, Lemniscap, CMS, Wicklow Capital, Informal Systems, and the Interchain Foundation. In late May 2023, Anoma raised $25 million in its third funding round, led by CMCC Global. Other investors included Electric Capital, Delphi Digital, Dialectic, KR1, The Spartan Group, NGC, MH Ventures, Bixin Ventures, No Limit, Plassa, Perridon Ventures, Anagram, Factor, and others.
