Babylon will open Cap-2 for BTC staking as part of the first staking phase. Cap-2 will have no TVL limit but will be time-limited. The window will open at block height 864790 and will remain open until block 864799 (inclusive). Estimated time for the staking window to open: October 9, 2024, around 11:00 UTC.
Activities 🎮
During Phase 1, you'll need to lock your BTC, for which you'll earn points:
Total limit for Phase 1: 1000 BTC
Minimum stake amount: 0.005 BTC (around $300)
Maximum stake amount: 0.05 BTC (around $3000)
Withdrawal will be possible within 7 days.
Download a BTC wallet if you don't have one Fund your wallet with the planned amount (min 0.005, max 0.05 BTC) + add extra BTC for gas fees, around $60-$100. There will be a lot of demand, so be prepared to spend a few dozen dollars on gas.
According to information from open sources, there are plans for a token launch, but currently, there is no exact date for the TGE (Token Generation Event).
